childbirth. of course that is reason enough for me to celebrate any woman who has given life. although MOTHER'S DAY is certainly more than that to many of us. usually it involves a delicious brunch or meal of some sort. and even-though the food thing is true- it sincerely marks a celebration of ALL those moments throughout the course of your life when your mother has sweetened the ride.
think about it.
think of the sweet desserts she made with you in mind. remember the times she cheered for you from behind the line. think of all her smiles at your success. remember as she listened to you get thoughts off your chest. recall the moments when she would take your side, and when she taught you to swallow your pride. perhaps, remember how cool she was about lending you her ride, or how compassionately she held you as a child while you cried.
these may be just a few of the reasons that make moms great. your mom might even have her own unique traits. none-the-less today is a very special date, so be sure to let her know that being in each others lives was utter fate! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
